occupied 3,000sq ft - $32,500 Personal contents were covered with soot and smoke odor from a dryer fire. Two bedrooms, baths, dining & living rooms, and den were affected, with all the contents contaminated. Due to the limited amount of workspace, most items were packed out, (after a quick HEPA vacuuming to remove gross soot), and brought to the RestorePro Restoration Center. Large furniture pieces were moved to the insured’s garage, where a restoration crew cleaned and deodorized each item, and then immediately delivered them to a new apartment for the insured. The quick response by the restoration crew prevented further damage, and every item except the clothes dryer was restored, including all clothing. Two computer systems and all TV’s and other electronics were removed to the Electronics Diagnostics Center, cleaned, tested and redelivered within 10 days to minimize the inconvenience of not having these “home comforts”. All work took less than 3 weeks including restoring over 250 boxes of contents. A potential $100,000 contents claim was reduced to less than $35,000. Single Family Residence - 2700sq ft - $17,950 A Television caught on fire and caused considerable heavy smoke, soot and odor damage to the contents on the first and second floor, and the basement. Working closely with the insured, RestorePro identified the restorable items and completed a pack out to the RestorePro Restoration Center. A RestorePro Inventory Specialist assisted the policyholders in compiling a detailed and accurate list of the destroyed items. By providing the inventory capture into an electronic spreadsheet, the insured and the adjuster were able to quickly and correctly identify the Age, Replacement Cost and ACV. Restorable items were cleaned and deodorized at our Restoration Center, utilizing the Ultrasonic immersion system and the ozone chamber. Secure, climate controlled storage was provided for the next several months while the insured rebuilt their home. Approximate Replacement Cost of the restorable items was $47,000. - 4100sq ft - $29,100 Considerable smoke and soot damage covered every square inch of the facility. Eighteen 27” TV’s, POS computer systems, Ceiling mounted projection TV’s, and Sound System were removed, cleaned using the Morantz Ultrasonic Cleaning System, tested and reinstalled. The kitchen equipment was dismantled, cleaned and sanitized to Health Department standards, reassembled and reset. The replacement value of the Electronics and Kitchen Equipment exceeded $150,000. and Restaurant - 25,000sq ft - $350,000 Entire three-story complex was damaged by smoke/soot. Selected contents of all hotel rooms, offices, lobbies, restaurants, bar, and kitchens were packed out and taken to the RestorePro Restoration Center for cleaning and deodorization. Antique, priceless and irreplaceable wall art was restored by a special art conservancy company in Cleveland, preventing possible loss of hundreds of thousands of dollars in valuable artwork. Art Restoration was only $21,000. Contents that remained at the loss site was cleaned, deodorized and stored in a Clean Room area to prevent recontamination. Packed out contents were cleaned and restored during the next two months while the hotel remodeled and rebuilt. Contents such as food prep equipment, appliances, dishes, draperies, pool tables, piano’s and furniture are just some of the contents cleaned and restored. Replacement cost of the contents would easily have exceeded several million dollars. However, contents restoration costs were less than $200,000. Corporate Offices of a Manufacturing Plant - 6000sq ft - $66,000 Entire office complex was heavily damaged by smoke/soot. RestorePro crews worked Saturday and Sunday to prepare the offices for limited usage at the start of the workweek. The office staff was able to continue operations during the day and the restoration crews started at 6pm and worked 12-hour shifts to completely restore the offices and all contents to pre-loss condition within one week. All electronics, 25 computer systems, copiers, fax machines, and more were removed to the electronic diagnostics center, cleaned, tested and reinstalled. Over $150,000 worth of electronics was cleaned and restored and reinstalled for under $11,000. Soot/smoke damage covered all areas of the office equipment including the insides of desks and filing cabinets. Full thermo fogging and ozoning smoke deodorization was also completed, leaving the facility smoke odor free and ready to begin full operations within 7 days of the loss. Apartment in a 10 unit complex - 1800sq ft - $13,700 Grease fire from kitchen range damaged the apartment contents with a greasy film, leaving an extremely offensive odor on all personal contents and the structure. Restoration crew removed all personal contents to our Contents Restoration department and completely restored all personal items to pre-loss condition in less than five days. Estimated replacement cost of the contents was $40,000. Restoration costs for contents were less than $10,000. The insured was returned to her home in less than one week. Water
